Azarc® welcomes in a new year with a duo of strong new hires

Azarc team members Jacs Reed (Head of Finance and People) and Rachael Moore (Head of Customer Success) sit together smiling while they work out of Azarc's London office.

Kick-starting what is set to be a year of significant growth for Azarc®, the disruptive business process automation company welcomed 2024 by confirming a dynamic duo of new hires.

Rachael Moore and Amna Tehreem join Azarc® with a wealth of experience working within the tech and supply chain industries, handling operations, customer services, and driving tech developments and service for names such as  Afiniti, Beacon, Breu, Fortnum & Mason, Tilda Rice, and Fever Tree.

Rachael Moore, Azarc®’s new Head of Customer Success, said: “I’m excited to get stuck in as Head of Customer Success! What appealed to me about joining Azarc® was being at the forefront of new technology advancements, and seeing the power of AI when applied to manual, repeatable processes within the supply chain.

“My role is centred around all things customer; success, support, and experience. We want to ensure that customers are supported through onboarding, set up for success, and have an extremely positive experience using the product.”

Amna Tehreem, Azarc®’s new Tech Lead, said: “I was at a point in my career where I was seeking an opportunity to work with cutting-edge technologies and brilliant minds. Upon discovering Azarc®, Verathread®, and its tech stack, along with understanding the company’s vision and objectives, I quickly realized that this is the ideal place for me. I am excited about my role as Tech Lead and looking forward to contributing to the product’s scalability and leading the team toward our ambitious goals for 2024 and beyond.”

Jon Bass, Head of Sales and Partnerships and Rachael’s team leader, added: “We are delighted to bring Rachael into our team here at Azarc®. She comes to Azarc® following a fantastic four years at Supply Chain Saas startup; Beacon. She was an integral part of their early team and helped the business to scale through two funding rounds with investment coming from the likes of Marc Benioff (Salesforce founder) and Jeff Bezos.

“Rachael was an essential part of the operational team that looked after customers including Fortnum & Mason, Tilda Rice, and Fever Tree, among many others. Rachael was responsible for not only maintaining and growing these accounts but also building and implementing many of the structures, policies, and procedures that helped the business to scale during the time she was there.

“With a wealth of experience in all things customer success and operations, specifically within the tech space, Rachael’s earlier career also included work with Air Sorted & Uber, respectively. We are all ecstatic to have one of the rising stars in tech join Azarc® as we look to grow during 2024 and beyond.”

Jono Langley, CTO, Azarc® Co-founder, and Amna’s team leader, added: “We are excited to announce the addition of a distinguished professional to our team in Amna, the new Tech Lead at Azarc®. With an impressive tenure in the computer software industry, Amna has honed her expertise in developing scalable, efficient Linux-based microservices in C++. Her journey at Breu as the Founding Software Engineer and Team Lead saw her spearheading Quantum, a cloud-native, Linux-based application, enhancing team size by 200%, and delivering groundbreaking solutions with OpenTelemetry.

“Her prior role at Afiniti as an Expert Software Engineer and Service Lead involved expanding the team significantly, optimizing service efficiency, and pioneering innovative software solutions. Her experience is bolstered by a solid educational background with a Master’s in Computer Engineering from CEME, NUST. We are confident that Amna’s leadership, technical prowess, and innovative approach will drive Azarc® towards new heights in technological achievements.”

Alongside global inclusivity and cultural diversity, addressing diversity across genders is high on the agenda for Azarc®. In an industry not historically known for its strong female leaders, the role of the supply chain continues to expand and Azarc® is proud to be working at the forefront.

Not only to enable supply chain resiliency through digitization and automation but also to facilitate opening the door for more women to bring their skills into the industry and support and progress those in the early stages of their careers.

Rachael and Amna join a cohort of strong female leaders and tech professionals at the globally renowned company, including Azarc® Designer, Homarya Shaik, who was sponsored by Azarc® to complete the DSCI TrailblazeHers: Women in Supply Chain 23:23 Leadership Program last year.
