As the DP World Global Freight Summit and DSCI Executive Leadership Forum approach, Azarc® is thrilled to announce that three innovators from across the supply chain, logistics, cross-border e-commerce, technology and marketing worlds have joined its world-class team - seeing the Azarc team expand.
Kick-starting what is set to be a significant period of rapid growth for the disruptive business process automation company, this substantial investment sees Jon Bass join as Head of Sales and Partnerships, Neil Kuschel join as Board Advisor and Simon Bailie come on board as Head of Events and Marketing.
With a collective experience that features industry names such as K+N, Agility, Logixboard, IMRG, Global-e, Patchworks, TNT ( FedEx), DPD and Global Freight Solutions, this significant investment in its people is one that stands Azarc® apart as it heads into an incredibly opportune and exciting time.
With businesses facing the challenge of knowing where to invest and what technology to invest in to safely navigate the current challenges, the experience and insight this new trio brings to the table will allow Azarc® to support businesses in knowing where that investment should be prioritized, and why; giving the business the potential to support an even larger customer base and supercharge its growth across the globe.
David Robbins, CEO at Azarc®, said: “The culture we nurture across our global team here at Azarc, in my eyes, is vital to our success. I’m thrilled to welcome Jon, Neil and Simon on board at such an exciting time for the business.
“Following the launch of our disruptive software, Verathread®, at Manifest in January 2023, it’s been a year of strategy and planning for Azarc®, to lay down the groundwork to get us to this point and to set us up for our next phase of rapid, exponential growth. Investing in this hat trick of new hires was a no-brainer for me and the senior management team. Jon, Neil and Simon all bring an incredible range of skills, contacts and knowledge to the table. Having that expertise onside as we embark on our next phase of expansion - as we both head to Dubai for the Global Freight Summit and Executive Leadership Forum and Manifest 2024 - is something I’m incredibly excited about.”
What our new team members have to say:
Jon Bass, new Head of Sales and Partnerships, said: “Azarc® has done fantastically well to get to a point where they have a very well-known brand like BT as one of their customers. BT clearly values and trusts the team here at Azarc®, which is a huge validation of what the team have accomplished to this point.
“I'm thrilled to join the team, and to look to the future and how we help many more customers solve some of their pain points. I believe Azarc® is perfectly poised to help businesses in supply chain and logistics, and I'm really excited to start talking to potential customers about the issues they are facing and how we might be able to help.”
Neil Kuschel, new Board Advisor, added: “After 20 years in logistics, followed by another 5 in cross-border e-commerce technology, I have started a non-exec career - and I couldn’t think of a better team than Azarc® to support.
“I love helping exciting technology businesses understand their customer needs and positioning to make a powerful go-to-market strategy. That is exactly what we’ll be working on at Azarc®. For Azarc® to have such a technically strong solution, so quickly, is an amazing achievement. The opportunities for the Azarc® solution to improve process flows are substantial. There are so many businesses relying on complex, repetitive, manual clearance work, which is cumbersome and rife with errors. The ability to automate and remove these barriers for large supply chain companies will have benefits all around.”
Taking Azarc to Dubai
From November 13 - 16, Azarc’s senior leadership team will be joining fellow leaders in supply chain, technology and freight, to showcase Azarc®, its achievements to date and the significant potential that lies in its automated solutions, Verathread® and Rune, at the DP World Global Freight Summit and DSCI Executive Leadership Forum.
With unprecedented challenges facing those in the industry, there is no better time to make the future supply chain a reality. During four days of events, the team will also be taking to the stage in the Coca-Cola Arena, Dubai as part of the DSCI Executive Leadership Forum. On November 15, Azarc® will join Shaun Muma from the DSCI, Juan Miguel Pérez Rosas from Finboot, and Kristopher Schroeder from Grey Market Labs, speaking as experts in the field to unpack the value that is to be found in deploying new supply chain technologies including automation and how businesses know which technologies are worth their investment.
